It has been five very long months without you. It almost hurts to celebrate the holidays. I keep waiting for the phone to ring and hear your sweet, southern voice. I love you and only wish I had a chance to say good bye to you. I want you to know that mom loves you very much and she and I are always thinking about you. You are still a part of my life and my heart and you will be until the end of time. Thank you for teaching me the compassion, tolerance, and love that you have used all through out your life. I know you are in heaven smiling down on us, watching your grandchildren grow. This is the good bye that I wish I would never have to say. You did and do mean the world to everyone whose lives you touched, and that is a countless number. You are my angel, and I love you.
