I can't say I understand your pain, because it's impossible for someone who has never experienced such a loss to understand what someone who did feels. Comments: I was so happy to find your site, the loss of our little Angel was so devastating, as all our losses were. You never think about it happening to you until it does, and to lose a 2 year old granddaughter, one week after her second birthday was probably the worst nightmare of my life. I am raising 3 of my other grandchildren and have become double paranoid since we lost little Autumn, I know I am too overprotective but nothing can ever change that! Comments: My heart goes out to you.I lost a 4 year old daughter last
year.Her father kidnapped her and there was an accident.He had been drinking. They were driving through a
forest and got a flat tire.He went to get help but he didnt
want her to run away, so he tied her to a tree.when he was
walking to go find a gas station he got picked up and they drove him to the nearest gas station (25 miles).The next morning he couldnt remember where he left her so he decided it wasnt worth contacting the police.So he just left her there,tied to a tree.That was a year ago,and I still hate him.I know everyone says I shouldnt hate him,but I do.I cant help it.Our storys may not be that similar but we both lost our baby's, and I know how you feel. If I would have looked harder,or not have been working that day, my Cleo would still be with me.I just want you to know that you are not alone.

son, Steven, in an auto accident also. We met Mark and Sandy
at The Compassionate Friends meeting. Although we never knew
Scott, through the sharing with his parents we feel we DO know

I'm still in tears! I'm sincerely sorry for your loss, I imagine that everyday
is a challenge for you...You see I too lost my son almost in the same way as you.
I have not been able to write Billy story yet. I have started it many times
but just can't finish. Billy was trying to get some friends home safely, from his
birthday party but the boy driving would not turn over the keys so Billy rode along to
see them safely home. I know what it's like to get that call......It was the night my world

day scott and i rode our bikes down that steep driveway. He went first and turned, nearly riding straight
into a ditch. Well, i wasn't as luckly. To this very day i still remember scott when i look in the mirror and
see the scar on my face from that accident.. Scott made his mark in every single persons life that he
touched, and with those marks scott lives forever in everyone, His Family, Friends, and everyone he

Comments: My heart shares your pain. My only son Dustin,just 17yrs. died suddenly last July from an undetected heart defect. He fell over dead while watching Tv with his girlfriend. He was always the healthiest of my children. There is no worse nightmare for a mother. I'm holding onto the belief that I WILL be with him again. Without that, I don't think I'd make it.

Dick Farmer shared this address with me. I hope you don't mind. The tribute is simply overwhelming. I'm fighting back tears as I type this note. The boys were truly loved by so many people, and your hearts must feel so empty. I'm sure that your grandchildren must be so precious to you. My own son is 26, and has a daughter and son 3 and 4. I can't imagine how it would feel to lose Eric, and to know that J.R. and Myra had lost their daddy. Thank you so much for reminding me how precious they are. If anyone ever had a doubt whether it's all worth it or not, all they would have to do is visit your page. Myra and J.R. lost their maternal grandfather last year, and Myra says that when she gets to heaven, PaPa Bobby will be waiting for her. It truly will be a wonderful reunion in heaven when you are reunited with your precious baby. Although it can't possibly make the hurt go away, you have been blessed with a wonderful gift in Zane and Mazey. Comments: I have just finished reading your story and I'm so very sorry for your great loss. Tomorrow will be 6 months since my Mother lost her Daughter, my Sister. Marilyn was murdered by her husband of only 14 months (she was shot in the head with a 357 magnum). Marilyn left behind her three beautiful children (15 yrs, 12 and 10 yrs. old). My Mother has been so busy with the children, fighting for custody that I don't believe she has actually realizes that Marilyn is gone. I pray that God will be with my Mother the day reality finds her. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t cry because I miss my only sister and everything my Mother and Marilyn’s children are going through.

Comments: I just wanted to say that my x-husband is an alcoholic and I pray everytime he leaves my house with our son that God will protect my son and bring him back to me safely.My x-husband has only been "caught" one time with a DUI and that has not stopped his drinking and driving. I also pray that he will quit drinking before he is the reason another sensless death occurs. God bless you.
