much lately.  Remembering all things of so many that I will
never ever forget.  I remember how jealous Zane was when
Mazey was born...he did not want your mom to even touch
her.  And how Shelly stayed every minute of the day to help
me with Mazey when we came home from the hospital.  And
most of all I remember the look on your face when we were
waiting for our little girl to be born.  Ryan, I love you
so much.....I did not know what I had.  You were the best
daddy to our children...and they will always know that. 
They are so beautiful.  And your mom and dad are so good to

It has been three years now since you have left us. It doesn't seem like it could possibly be that long. I wish you were here to meet my daughter Morgan. I know how much you loved kids. You would have loved her. I keep in touch with your family. They are doing okay, but you can see the grief all over their face everyday of their lives. Taylor and Baby Scott really help them out. THey are so precious. I went up to your grave for the first time in a year. It has been very hard for me. Every since I became a mother your death has affected me in a different way. I grieve for you as my friend and always will but I can't imagine how I would feel to grieve for you as my son. I feel for your parents so much. I can't even imagine how they must feel. We all love you and miss you so much. You would think that time would heal the pain, but it still hurts so much. SOmethimes it doesn't seem like reality. I just want you to know that no matter how much times passes you will always be in my heart and my thoughts.

I have a son and a daughter, they are my "everything", I can't imagine my life without them. As a mother, I know that your lost must have been the hardest thing you have ever experienced and my heart goes out to you and your family, I know that someday you'll see your son/nephew again, they are together now, in a special place, watching over you. God has special plans for people, and I'm sure he needed those two special boys in heaven.
I hope that with time you'll be able to carry on with your life knowing that someday you will see them again in a place where there's no pain, sadness, sickness, etc.

Comments: I was so touched by your memorial to your son and nephew. I know your pain because I too lost a son about the same age as your Scotty. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through in my life but I know that my Father in Heaven reached down and gave me the comfort of his Spirit when Ruly died and has been there for me so many times since then. I learned that faith and trust in my Heavenly Father was the most important element in healing from this grief. I don't understand all of the reasons why my son was taken away when he was, but I have perfect faith that it was for a purpose that only my Father in Heaven knew and understood and this gave me the joy that can only come through knowing and understanding this. I pray that you and all of those who have lost loved ones and are grieving so terribley will be comforted in the same way that I was. I loved my Son beyond measure and I know without a doubt that I will be with him again and we will rejoice and understand why then. May our Father in Heaven bless you and your dear loved ones also. Comments: What a lovely site. I really liked the information I found on Children and Grief. I have lost four children, two
before birth and two after. I have had to explain the last loss in April of this year not only to my 12 year
old son but to his three year old sister. It is hard to explain to her where her "Buddy" is. When we go to the
gravesite she says he is down in heaven with her two sisters. When it is lightning up above she says her "Buddy" is playing with
God's flashlight. What a wonderful way to see things...wish I was a child again.

I lost a son and a grandson.they were only babies when they passed on but i think it doesn't matter how old they are they are still our babies.Living with the greif does get easier and you are right it never goes away.The holidays and birthdays and the day of their death is the hardest.It has been 13 years since my son passed away and only 3 years for my first grandson.
