Dear Dakota,
I visited you today, and oh how I miss your little face. Its been over a year, and the hurt is still so bad. I just want to hold you again, to see your little smile, hear your little baby noises, smell you. I wish you could meet my new little one, Chance. He reminds me of you. Alot. I wish I had taken you that night. Its so wrong that I have to visit you in the cemetary. You should be here, running around, causing trouble. I hope you hear me when I talk to you. You left us all so soon.
You have a baby sister now, did you know? I haven't seen your mom in a long while, but I know that she thinks of you. I wish I could change all this.
I LOVE YOU ANGEL BABY. You are in my thoughts so much, and I still miss you a whole lot, I always will.
I will see you again someday, I believe that. Until then, I will just keep you with me, in my heart.

Dakota-
Hello Angel Baby. Its almost your 2nd birthday. I imagine all the time how you would look as a toddler. You would be getting into everything, laughing, and smiling, telling people "NO!", "MINE".  You would be so full of life, I know. But I guess you will be doing that stuff up with the angels, huh? I still think of you all the time, and I visit when I can. Do you see me there Dakota?
I saw your mom about 4 months ago. She misses you. Your grandma too. We all do Honey. You were so precious to us all, and you left so soon. I feel cheated of the time I planned to spend with you.
I hope you are happy and warm and safe in heaven Baby. I hope you remember me, and I know that someday I will see you again.
Oh yeah, it snowed today. It was snowing on the day you left us, you never had the chance to see it. See it now Baby, see it now.
