The one that was born last died the next day at Childrens Hospital. Their name is James and Kathy Grieve. The baby ,s name was Mckenzie. Thank you for using such a tragedy to touch the lives of other young people. I remember when Ryan first came to Rosewood School as my classmate in second. I thought he was soooo cute! I was doing some research in how to help to teens cope with the death of a classmate when I came across this website. It's absolutely beautiful. About almost 5 and a half months ago now, our High School had a horrible tragedy. A friend of mine who was a senior and his girlfriend were driving with two other seniors who were good friends of theirs. They were on their way back to school to meet a few friends to go out for dinner. The roads were slippery because it had been rainy and snowy that night and no one ever would have thought that we could loose the two of them. Amy and Ryan were well know around the school and September 13 changed their lives, and all of ours for the rest of our lives. Their senior year of high school, no graduation, no prom, no college, and all they wanted was to be class couple. It's horrifying to still look back on it. We are still coping with the tragedy. We feel your losses. I'm so sorry. I love this website. It's amazing. I like to write poems a lot and after Ryan's death I wrote this one, I'm not sure if it can still help you or not, but here it is, and I'm so sorry again! But always keep faith. God will always be there and so will the boys! They will always be there.... Lost, But Never Forgotten The stairway to Heaven is over crowded We get worse as time goes on, only to be better in the end But we can always be sure there's no harm In moving on They'll always be there no matter what the case You'll see them in every smiling face. Comments:	i just stopped in doing some research on a different subject for school. i think your story is so touching. the dedication website i think is an awesome idea and i think it found me. not to long ago i had a fellow brother(firefighter) pass in the line of duty. he is my age 22, and my whole department was devistated. you don't think this is going to happen and its not supposed to happen, not to him. he had the biggest heart and was the poster boy for the fire department, he would ALWAYS do things to make the department look good even off duty. his funeral had a turnout of about 3500 i had no idea how many people he touched. in one day i lost a good friend, a mother lost her son, his brothers lost a great role madel, and my family(department) lost the best character shadow that they could walk in. thank you for your website it has aloud even a big tough fireman drop to his knees and deal with his ignorances

Comments:	I read Scotty and Ryan�s web site and was very touched. I hear you when you say you laugh but think how you can be laughing when your son is dead. I recently lost a very close cousin whom I consider a brother. I found out the same way you did. He was in a car accident and I got that dreaded phone call. I was so hurt and still am. I laugh and wonder why. How can I be so mean to laugh when something so bad just happened to me? Then I stop. I some times wonder why the good always get punished. but remember Scotty and Ryan wouldn�t want you to be sad. They would want you to remember them and live your life to its fullest. I will pray for them that they are in a better place now. My thoughts and prayers are with you. some one who cares

Comments:	When I read the comments, I can't imagine the grief you must have suffered when you learned of your son's death. My heart truly goes out to you and your family, and from first hand experience with death at an early age - I was 5 when my dad died - I was truly moved by your obvious love and compassion for him. We never really know why loved ones are taken from us in such an untimely manner, but reflect on the times that you did have with him, knowing that all your efforts resulted in a fine outstanding young man.
